Frequently Asked Questions About Detoxification (Purification)
Who Needs To Detoxify?
Most people who want to be healthier will benefit from detoxifying, however, since certain exceptions apply, first consult with a trained detoxification practitioner.
Can pregnant or nursing women and children Detoxify?
Pregnant and nursing women should not detoxify. Children should only detoxify when under the supervision of a doctor trained in this practice. We can however put pregnant and nursing women on protocols that will help support mom and the baby. Children can also be helped significantly with diet modification and whole food supplementation.
Can I Detoxify If I Am On Medication?
Most medicines are fine. However, there are a few medications that could be a problem. It is best to meet with a doctor trained in detoxification services before attempting a detoxification program.
What are the different types of detoxification programs available through your office?
There are numerous ways to pull poison from your system.
1.)The best method is a program that includes the use of diet modification and whole food supplementation and supports all of the detox organs including the liver, colon, kidneys and skin. An example is the 21 Day Standard Process Purification Program (see additional information).
2.) There are also programs that target specific detox organs like a liver cleanse or a colon cleanse. These are helpful but not as effective as an all inclusive full body detox.
3.) Infrared sauna use is very effective at pulling toxins from deep within the body and improves skin detox.
4.)Detox footbaths are another way of stimulating detoxification through the skin (the largest detox organ). Ions or charged particles are placed into the water and act like a magnet to stimulate the release of toxins. According to the manufacturer of the Ion Cleanse Detox Footbath, when the toxins are pulled out, the water changes color. The color is dependent upon which type of toxin is being released.

-Headaches/Migraines
-Congestion
-Fatigue
-Insomnia or difficulty sleeping
-Digestion and other gastrointestinal problems
-Food cravings and weight gain
-Reduced mental clarity
-Low libido
-Problems with skin & Nails
-Pain and others
