At Southside Chiropractic, we believe in treating the body as a whole and that’s why we place a tremendous amount of attention on what our patients are putting into their body chemically.
Food is our body’s fuel source and needs to be as pure as possible. When 100% pure food is not an option due to a lack of nutrients in the soil or chemicals added to insure freshness, it is vital that the body be supplemented with the necessary nutrition or disease will result. We have done extensive research to seek out companies that meet our strict standards for nutritional compliance. Check out some of the products that we offer below.

  The Crystal stick body deodorant is an ideal substitute for unnatural antiperspirants that focus on preventing the body from perspiring.   For over 70 years Standard Process has been a leader in providing health care professionals with whole food based nutritional products.  It has long been known that the best source of nutrients in our diet are obtained from natural, wholesome, and unrefined fruits and vegetables.  Unfortunately, in our modern society soil is over utilized and fruits and vegetables are often exposed to a growing number of herbicides and pesticides. Therefore, it is not as easy to get food that is rich in vitamins and minerals and without chemical contamination.  Given this fact, it is nearly impossible to get even the minimum recommended daily allowance (RDA) in our diets without supplementation.  Many people look to the cheapest source of supplements that they can find because it is too commonly believed that all vitamins are the same.  This is not true. Standard Process vitamins are comprised of foods that have high levels of a given vitamin or mineral. Chiroflow pillows are one of our most popular products due to the unique design and  effective way of supporting your cervical spine (neck) while sleeping.  Unlike most pillows, the Chiroflow pillow can be filled with a layer of water to fit anyone’s specific sleeping needs.  So whether you like a soft pillow, or a firmer pillow, this is probably the one for you. It has been used by dozens of our patients (and the doctors too).  Sorry, these are not recommended for pillow fights unless you are under the care of Dr. Joe or Dr. Shirley. Some people don’t like the idea of sleeping a water pillow, so we also offer the Pillow-Pedic contour pillow.  Many people like the extra support and comfort of this type of pillow.  There are a few varieties to choose from and it is best to discuss which would be best  for you with your doctor.  You may even want to try it out in tour office!

  
     
 

This Davinci product line is one of the staple items in our office.  For a well rounded way to improve your nutritional intake it is always a good idea to take a multi-vitamin.  Since men and women have different bodily functions, they also have different nutritional needs. Therefore, we offer a woman’s and men’s line of multi vitamins.

Another great product from Davinci is a specialized product for, the all too common condition, fibromyalgia.  Malic acid is a key nutrient that should be taken if you have ever been diagnosed with this condition, this is found in Fibro-My-DMG.  So Give them a try and see how they match up against your multi-vitamin (or lack of one!).

  
     
 

This last product line is very popular with our patients, especially if they don’t like to take pills.   Isotonix OPC-3TM (a natural antioxidant complex), Calcium PlusTM, Mineral BlastTM, Co-Enzyme Q10, Digestive Enzyme Formula with Probiotics, and children’s Might-A-MinsTM are all offered in powdered form, which is dissolved in small amounts of water and taken on an empty stomach.  This helps to speed up the absorption rate which can take up to 40 minutes or as little as 5 minutes with some vitamins..  Not a bad way to start the day.  GlucosatrinTM is an excellent form of glucosamine sulfate with added natural anti-inflammatories to help reduce aches and pains and to maximize proper joint function.  Ultimate AloeTM is a tasty aloe based product that has worked wonders with a variety of digestive problems.  Our last product, Prime, has jokingly been referred to as “the fountain of youth” because it is effective in reducing the aging effects on the joints, skin, muscles, and many other areas of the body.
